(“Vomit Comet”)
Our DC-9 was previously in service with NASA was used as a flying ZERO-G anti-gravity laboratory for astronaut crew training and experiments. Famously known as the “Vomit Comet,” it was used by all Apollo and Shuttle Astronauts for training. It was also used for the movie Apollo 13’s weightless scenes. It is uniquely configured and engineered for many space-related capabilities.
